Many of them have original leaded windows & woodwork throughout the homes. They were built in the Tudor style with slate roofs, stucco and brick exteriors and lots of woodwork and detail throughout. Most have fireplaces not only in the living room but in the basement as well.
The own is divided by State Route 17 ( which runs north and south). The East side of the town borders Saddle River where most of the homes are spread out a little more on properties of 1/2 acre plus in size.
