Midland Park

Though only 1.7 square miles in area, Midland Park has much to offer: two shopping strips, nine churches, convenient public transportation and a 45,000 plus books public library. It's home prices are reasonable & affordable. Yet Midland Park remains something of a secret, in part because it lies in the shadow of it's more prestigious neighbors, Ridgewood & Wyckoff.

Many residents say they cherish the anonymity and the small-town flavor. What catches the eye of many people is the housing stock, from tiny Cape Cods to stately old colonials ( with a few contemporaries and split levels sprinkled among them).

People enjoy the borough's tranquility and convenience. One can catch a bus & be in Manhattan in an hour yet it feels like being in a small mid western town.

The public school system, with one elementary school and a combined junior/senior high school is considered a community asset. Among the borough's recreational assets is the Dairy Street Field, with football, baseball, soccer and softball fields, four tennis courts and four basket ball courts. A renovated barn on the site serves as a community center.

At the Brownstone Mill, with multiple shops, shoppers can browse for antiques and handcrafts or wander beyond the mill to Waragraw Brook with it's waterfall and reflect for a moment. The retails strips house many stores and boutiques as well as two supermarkets.

Midland Park is a great place to consider when searching for your dream home!
